Is it raining in London? Wondering whether to go for a loop ride when I get back from down south.

Interesting one this. My girlfriend has a dog but cant pretend it is trained to the level I would ever consider it joining us on the trails. I don't know what the protocol is really to be honest. I know loads don't like it as there are inevitably horror stories of uncontrolled dogs. I personally think so long as it is trained and bought under control when other riders are near so not to throw them off it is cool as nature is for sharing. I definitely see it more often on natural trails like Epping and Surrey Hills than on trail centre trails. Saying that often when I ride Swinley folk are out with dogs and I have two friends who love riding with their dogs and I envy that. It may be particular trail centres have rules. I was curious and asked the question on Twitter and got this response:
mine comes on natural trails, much the same as taking him hiking, but I wouldn't take him to a trail centre.

I've seen dogs alongside riders at trail centres and they've never been a problem. Think they have to be super trained though

    Either way have a blast.

What have others experienced / think?
