UK Bike Park - New Operators Being Interviewed, England

UK Bike park is closed until further notice and currently up for sale. The Forestry Commission are currently conducting interviews for the new park operator so we should know in about a week if the park is going to continue and by whom. PLEASE don't ride at the park in the meantime.

The company Ukbikepark Ltd is what is being sold. Included in that is the planning permission to use the site as a cycling venue with permission for the trails, cabin, car park, toilets, access track within the 22 hectares site. The land owners the Forestry Commission are offering a commercial lease for 8 years + to run the site. 

Historically UK Bike Park was a rider built mountain bike non-profit club modeled on the North American style bike park. Boasting seven downhill courses, National standard 4X Track, North shore, a massive wooden start platform, plus a host of dirt jumps and other features. The MTB park was built on a progressive philosophy to cater for all abilities.


  • Big Grin, Ladder Ally, Wiggly Woo, Devils Dyke, Tsubo, Ali's Finger + the start platform and the 'Bridge to Far'


  • UK Bike Park held a number of events and races such as the NPS 4X, DH races, DH Southern Champs, Army champs, the Hardtail Champs and the BUCS 2009 Student champs.

Uplift Service

  • The uplift service could cater for 30+ runs in a day.
