Introducing Corsair Bikes
Hot

Corsair Bikes came into existence just under two years ago so they are pretty new. I was impressed by their range of mountain bike at the Cycle Show so I wanted to share my interest. Their bikes are specifically designed and tested for Whistler riding in mind and the range covers Downhill (Crown), Freeride (Maelstrom), Slope (Konig), Dirt Jumping (Ducat) and all Mountain (Marque) so I thought I'd take a little closer look.
The company's mission is to make high performance mountain bikes designed for hardcore riders. All frames are designed by former professional DH racer and Whistler, BC local Pablo Tafoya.

Their philosophy is “art in motion”. They design the suspension for each bike based specifically ont what that bike is designed to do, the terrain it will ride as well as the type of rider who will ride it.

The Centre Balance design is at the heart of each frame, centralizing mass to improve handling. The Idler Pulley system all but eliminates chain growth and adjustable head tubes allow the fine tuning of the head angle.

There is a sweet video below that introduces the range.
