I had to buy a new frame when i found out that my Nubuk (German brand) had managed to sustain a cracked bottom bracket whilst on the Demo Loop at Bike Radar. Whilst I was there I had a look at the Planet X/OnOne stand and fell in love with the 456, although I did have a soft spot for the Pink ScanAL, but new I wouldn't be able to pull it off. Anyway, after I learnt about my frame problem, I bought the frame the following week
456 Cro-mo Frame

XT rear mech
SLX front mech
LX shifters

Prologo Kappa saddle
Element hubs and rims
Scwalbe Hardrider tyres

Great bike, probably one of my best yet.

Good Points
Okay, so the frame it not the lightest, by my god, was it responsive, and surprisingly quick. The main wow factor was when I had to take it on the road.....and the machine acted like it built for the road. I've never been able to go so fast on tarmac before!
Bad Points
I would like to get some new forks, either Reba's or Revelations, but that is for a different time.
Would you recommend?
