Just got this from SealSkinz. Six new 2009-10 SealSkinz® products have been designed for the Cycle market. For those of you that don't know, these are the folks who do all that waterproof gear. Before we jump into it did you know they are a Norfolk based company and that seventy per cent all of its product range is made by hand in the UK. Every product is made with unique SealSkinz® patented technology which works via a seamless three-layer construction – an outer, a waterproof highly breathable membrane, plus an inner lining.

SealSkinz® Cycle range is designed for all types of riders – from amateurs and commuters to mountain bike racers - who are often exposed to the elements. This year SealSkinz® has added a Lightweight Socklet and a Thin Mid Calf Sock to their range, along with a new Full Finger Glove, Fingerless Cycle Glove, Mountain Biking Glove and Ladies All Weather Cycle Glove.

New SealSkinz® Lightweight Socklet

The Light Weight Socklet is thin, lightweight and ideal to stop water entering through the cleat fitting on cycle shoes. It features an elasticated instep for comfort and support. The inner is made from Merino wool for warmth, comfort and wicking performance. The waterproof breathable membrane allows perspiration to escape whilst preventing water coming in. The outer is made from knitted acrylic for extra durability, abrasion resistance and stretch-to-fit properties. The sock is below ankle length, is available in S, M, L and XL sizes and comes in black. The RRP is £20.00.

New SealSkinz® Thin Mid Calf Sock

The Thin Mid Calf Sock is the thinnest from SealSkinz. It is ideal for use with close fitting cycling shoes. It features a fine Merino wool inner for great comfort and excellent wicking performance, plus an elasticated instep for comfort and support. It features SealSkinz’s patented waterproof and breathable membrane and the outer is made from knitted acrylic for extra durability, abrasion resistance and stretch-to-fit properties. The sock is mid calf length. It is available in S, M, L and XL sizes and comes in black. The RRP is £25.00.

The Fingerless Cycle Glove has a tough, comfortable clarino palm with pressure point padding and an elasticated ventilated back fabric. It is available in S, M, L and XL sizes and comes in black. The RRP is £15.00.

This glove is specially designed to fit smaller ladies’ hands, with slimmer wrists and longer fingers. It is lightweight construction, has a superb fit and is ideal for all weather use. They include pressure point padding on the palm and silicon print on the fingers for grip. The inner and lining is made from 100% polyester, the waterproof breathable membrane allows perspiration to escape whilst preventing water coming in, and the outer is made from durable and repellent fabric. They are available in S, M, L and XL sizes and come in black and sky blue. The RRP is £30.00.
