Intaride IR803 radio

Intaride Communications have introduced a revolutionary radio system designed specifically for virtually all cycling activities. The system is entirely ‘hands-free’ and enables the user to communicate with other riders whilst riding. The system is ‘worn’ by the rider and consists of a simple wiring harness connecting the radio and throat microphone (with integral earpiece) together.
The throat mic lightly secures around the neck and twin microphones pick up vibrations from the voice, allowing ‘hands-free’, voice activated communication; a press-to-talk button is also included. Communications are heard through the single earpiece, integral to the throat mic.
There are a range of radios to suit all budgets. However, the Intaride IR803 radio (pictured above) has 4 watts transmission power and can be used on both public and private frequencies. Additionally, it has an integrated FM Radio, giving the user the option to listen to their own music via an FM transmitter (not supplied) and music player (not supplied) whilst maintaining communication with the group.
