The Scott XC glove was a sort of rushed purchase when I found myself forgetting gloves for my commute home. They were comfortable and stretchy and as the saying goes fitted like a glove.

Being stretchy and comfy I thought they would do well as a commute and simple xc mountain bike glove.

The glove features:

  • Thumb reinforcement
  • Padded palm
  • High ventilation glove
  • TPR puller tab (quite handy)

I think they look good but I don't rate the hardiness of the materials.

A little too well ventilated

After a couple of months they started to fray around the fingers and a month later I had two holes in two fingers

6 months down the line I had to say goodbye. If you considered this as an xc glove then maybe if you were an occasional summer rider and wanted comfort then cool. For any riding that is a bit more demanding or in harsher weather conditions I would not recommend this glove I'm afraid.
