The Knog stand at the Cycle show caught my eye because frankly with all their pretty cycling chic lights and the rest it be darn hard to miss them. Consequently I have decided to focus on the least pretty and colourful the Gator 605. Ha!

Anyways as summer continues to hide and the search has been called off whilst the dark nights hurry forward like there is some weird rush everyone is talking lights. I have honestly little to add and have no expert view but at least the conversation is topical and I wanted to add my two pennies worth.

I see the Knog range as more of the commuter chic range but a light is a light and being lit is what it is all about. Their range is enormous so I'm not going to attempt to describe it all. Suffice to say they all seem to be in fun pastelly colours, have a nice mould in your hand rubbery feel and they all fit really neatly and simply to your bike, helmet or whatever (and so come off easy too). I'd be curious mind to know if they would stay on down a rocky descent but I'm sure someone will inform us.

They also range big super lights. More light is good. These Hi Powered lights caught my eye probably because I am staid in my ways and they are in a black casing and so to me look like lights.

It's a pretty funky brand if you are into that type of thing (personally I think it reads like they are trying too hard and is suspiciously distracting from the product itself.. but I caveat this with the view that I am totally out of touch) Anyway to get you back quick to Knog world below is how Knog as only Knog could describe their Hi Powered Gator 605 Light

One thing I am noticing more and more, is that in urban built up areas cycling is getting more popular day by day. As a result different niches are popping up and the Urban Chic market are here in force and thankfully to be homest here to stay. Wherever you turn your head in London it's kinda "sik" (I checked with my daughter it is apparently cool to say "sik" to bike so I guess you have to make sure it's your bike that's turning those heads and getting you noticed.
