This is a great tyre. I have ridden it in the dry at Chicksands and the XC black at Innerleithen as well as the slippery mud and rain of Epping and Aston Hill. Lovely

Overall I think it is designed well for most all round xc and trail centre routes so you can both maintain a speed without too much drag whilst having sweet protection for taking drops and navigating rocks and roots as well as ultimately good grip for tight muddy corners. I'm not sure it is the fastest tyre you could buy (well clearly not) but my main criteria is it allows me to get up a steep rocky hill without too much pain and it's day out at the Innerleithen black proved this. . .

The fact they are folding makes them dead easy to get off, pack up and and transport around. At under £20 it's pretty good value.
