Hamsterley TrailBlazers (the volunteer trail group of Hamsterley Forest MTB trails) are a busy dedicated bunch. They have just gained permission to make the existing enduro route an official trail.

Until the end of July iBikeRide are giving one lucky rider the chance to win the kind of MTB break that only mountain biker dreams are made of. We are offering a free two night stay at the iconic Afan Lodge, a top guided ride of the holy grail of South Wales trails PLUS a coaching session on the Lodge's very own skills park courtesy of Campbell Coaching.

Riders can share reviews, pics and vids to a trail listings or even list up a trail (we haven't yet got to) and so on.

A small pump track has been built at Cwmcarn MTB centre, It has been designed and built by Trailcraft MTB and BMX Track Construction Ltd and is targeted at kids.

Woburn Bike Park which has been shut since the bike park was taken down earlier in the year due to health and safety reasons is about to officially re-open on Saturday 19th July for what the local trail team there are referring to as "LIMITED" riding.

Cannock Chase MTB Centre has unveiled The Five Ways descent. This is a new red descent on the Monkey Trail. It is1km long and runs from the Five Ways marker down to Absinthe. It replaces the rather dull fire road descent that folk used previously.
