New Lights

Took delivery of my new light last week. Exposure Maxx-Daddy.

These are very powerful 4 LED lights. Best thing I like is the fact they are fully self contained and come with a handlebar clamp mount which allows quick and easy mounting on the bikes.

I had considered the Hope 4 LED - it is slightly cheaper and after riding with a friend last week I can see that it gives similar light output.

It was the simple mounting and neatness of the single unit that won out for us - The hope battery only has a velcro strap for mounting and our previous lumicylce battery packs used to bounce around all over the place  - scratching the paintwork and doing god knows what to the battery internals.

So now the night riding setup is complete - I have the Exposure Maxx-D 4  LED light on the bike giving a good bright cast out in front, and an Exposure Max single LED mounted on the helmet for lighting up what I'm looking at.

Pretty awesome out last night with the full moon and clear skies, shame it wasn't cold enough for a frost, as hard packed ground would have been a blast.

Glad of both the moon and the ultra bright lights though as there were black cows standing in the middle of the trail when we were blasting back down hill!

Hey buddy. Got any pics of the lights. Post some in and I think this is worthy of a kit feature. smilies/cool.gif
