We offer both B&B and self catering short breaks self catering close to Dalbeattie Forest 7Stanes. Mabie, Kirroughtree  and Ae are within a 45 minute drive.

Our Four Star Scottish Tourist Board affiliated B&B and self catering accommodation is situated in the coastal village of Rockcliffe with two local pubs close by in Kippford.

We welcome Mountain Bikers and can provide a lock up, drying room, bike hose and Wi Fi.

Currently Visit Britain 3-4* all four cottages are spacious, with modern interiors and every home comfort. The designers of the Adrenaline Gateway , Rowan Sorrell and his team have used us as their base when working (and playing) on The Lee Quarry site. We are open all year ,no high season supplements,flexible start dates and easy access with large parking facilities.

Tomintoul is an ideal base to explore the regions wonderful countryside. Safe footpaths and cycle routes take you through breathtaking views of the River Avon and Conglass Water and the woodland and heather covered hills, with the Cairngorms as a backdrop. An amazing variety of wildlife can be encountered on even the gentlest stroll. Slightly further a field there are battlefields, ancient monuments, castles and picturesque towns and villages. Winter is spectacular with the Lecht Ski Centre on the pass just 6 miles away, providing activities all year round.

The village has a number of eateries, something for everyone's taste, various shops to purchase gifts, art and everyday essentials.

The property enjoys lovely far reaching views within a tranquil family managed smallholding, complete with friendly animals and - of course - bike facilities!

Relax on the sun terrace after a hard days ride overlooking the valley. There is easy access by bike or on foot to the River Wye and great cycling and walks, canoeing, fishing, rock climbing and local hostelries as well as excellent road links for exploring further afield.
