Recenty refurbished cottage in the village of Abergorlech. It is 20 paces from the Black Lion, which is a biker friendly Pub with a great beer garden by the river Cothi. The cottage is also at the start of the Gorlech Trail, so no need to bike rack up, it is also a 5 minutes cycle ride to the other Brechfa trails. It is the closest accomodation to the trails and the Pub in the area.

We bought this cottage and totally restored it to enhance its natural features, revealing the river stone walling, fireplaces and natural tiled floors. Our endeavour was to make the cottage a home from home, a proper cosy getaway. There is a spacious lounge with two sofas and an armchair. We have Sky TV and a multifuel burning stove, and have provided some books to read and games to play.

There are three bedrooms. A double with a large wardrobe and chest of drawers, and room for a travel cot which we can provide. A twin room which can be converted to a single room to create more space, with a built in wardrobe. A single room with a pull out bed that becomes a double with a built in wardrobe. For additional sleeping arrangements we also have a single aero bed ( the type that pumps up to feel like a solid single, not a bouncy airbed), and one of the sofas in the lounge also forms a double bed. This can give you a maximum sleeping capacity of 8.
The kitchen is new, and offers a fridge and freezer, microwave, oven, grill.

There is a large back utility area which is part of the house, this stores the wood, the toilet and washing machine, but also gives you space for up to 8 mountain bikes. The advantage is that this is part of the house and therefore very secure.
The garden with a large patio with tables and chairs, and it is at the bottom of a hill, so you feel like you really are in the middle of the countryside when you sit in the garden. There is also a washing area for Mountain bikes.

We have tried to put the best of everything in the cottage, and therefore request no smoking inside the house. We are open to the occasional small/medium sized dog, but would ask that they do not sit on the furniture or go upstairs. Reasonable use of logs is provided free of charge.
