Today was a great day. First real taste of desert riding! I rode a Mongoose with a shorter stem than my stumpjumper and I preferred it as it gave more cornering control. It actually a cool bike that is loads of fun. I might do a seperate write up on it.
Right me bag is packed and I'm ready to go Hurrah!!! As you may or may not know by now I am off for ten days to do some desert riding in Eilat and the Sinai between Israel and Jordan. My guide Eyal has been recommended by Jack Sheardon who runs the IMBA (International Mountain Biking association in Israel).
I arrive in Tel Aviv tomorrow and fly down to Eilat on Friday ready to do a desert trail ride on the Saturday followed by some downhilling on Sunday and then again
