Had a good day on Monday. Spent about 3 hours talking to local folk in the park. Ages ranges from 6 to around 40. Lots of enthusiasm and you could not keep the comments back . I did between 15- 20 face to face interviews covering pre- teens, teens, parents and adult riders.

Last night I drove to a secluded forest office on the border of Wendover Woods. The reason being to attend a meeting between Buckingham Bikes (represented by Dan) who are the guys who have the lease from the Forestry commission for the next 3 years), the CTC (represented by the previous owner of Aston Hill Ian Warby in his new role) who are the UK's national cyclists organisation), the Forestry Commission and about 40 members and friends

Yo did the Aston Hill, xc course yesterday. Good to see that the place is still busy, alive and kicking. I was feeling a lot more confident on my bike and was able to pick up a bit more speed than my first ride out at Chicksands the day before.
Definetly need to focus on my fitness mind 
Also spoke to Paul who is sponsored by the course owners and has been doing what maintenance he could do over the last year and I am looking forward to going to the meeting tonight with the Forestry commission and Buckinghma bikes (new owners). Seems a lot of

Went down to the local Newhall woods "The Fifty" today to try my hand at building with some of the guys who ride there locally.
Been dry the last few days so the ground was tough. We got built a good lip and then supported it with a big tree trunk. Filled the middle with logs and planks and stones and filled it with earth.
Good fun and still needs a bot more filling in but our enthusiasm drained a bit as
