Family run guest house with four rooms in the village of Nether Stowey at the foot of the Quantock Hills (AONB). We are also a short drive away from Exmoor National Park.
Whilst the Quantock Hills only cover an area of 99km2 they are blessed with some of the best mountain biking terrain in the UK, with scenic trails across open moorland and steep down-hill runs through narrow coombes.
The Old Cider House, lying at the foot of the Quantocks in the village of Nether Stowey, makes an ideal base for a few days mountain biking in the hills. We have our own off street car park with facilities to hose down your bike and put it away safely for the night and a drying room if you get wet. We offer evening meals by arrangement and we are fully licensed with our own micro-brewery on site. We can also do you an early breakfast and a healthy packed lunch if you let us know in advance.
The village also boasts three friendly pubs, one of which serves evening meals, two cafes and three village shops.
