If you know of any other places nearby with a similar range of trails please tell me

Good points:

The main benefit for me is that the forest is just a 10 minute drive from home. To have such an extensive area of trails so nearby is amazing. It seems that there are just so many trails. In case you want to workout where you're going Open Cycle Map has them all mapped out.

Bad points:

If I was being picky... sometimes it's not entirely clear whether you're going the right way down a trail (but that's also quite fun, and I haven't met anyone coming the other way yet). Shame we can't build some features, although I doubt anyone would actually stop you as long as what you have in mind isn't too outrageous.

Stoughton Review

Good points:

- Very accessible. Due to the large car park just off the A27. - Number of trails. I am always discovering new part of single track to try. - Good for all abilities. Most of the single track is great for beginners and intermediates (hence the '5 star Skill Development') but there are also more exciting features such as a drop into the bomb hole with will keep the more advanced riders happy. - Extremely quick in the dry. Also the trails ride particularly well in the dry as well as staying fun in the wet. - Great cafe. Serves delicious hot food and particularly good homemade cake that is great for after the ride!

Bad points:

- Still signs of damage from recent forestry work. Although it is a lot better than it was there are still deep tyre marks thought the trails. - Lack of man made features. This means an obvious lack of jumps, berms etc. Although there are a few many trail have none. - Strict forestry commission rules. Say there should be no more building in the forest.
