Tom Durham from Collective Trax the bike track building team has got in touch to let us know the new trails they have been working on at Lochore Meadows Country Park in Fife, Scotland, will be officially opened on March 19th. So, get a plan in the diary folks.
Construction at Lochore Meadows in Fife began in early November to develop new and improved bike trails throughout the country park has resulted in over 4KMs of new blue grade trail including flowing XC with some technical options, pump trails, and Scotland’s first Adapted Bike Trail - which has been designed and built for side by side bikes and trikes, but fun for all!
The Park is fairly flat but they have made the most of what gradient there is and the trails are great fun to ride.
The project includes some forestry work to remove windblown and damaged trees and is part of a number of improvement projects taking place in the park over the winter. The team have worked hard to ensure disruption during the build has been kept to a minimum.
Please check out the Lochore Meadows trail listing on the iBikeRide site where you can get full descriptions and read or post your own rider review (we all love reviews).
