Carbisdale mountain bike trails are 2 short trails that are the sister trails to the more advanced Balblair trails. Both form part of the Kyle of Sutherland Trails. Carbisdale is on the west side of the Kyle and Balblair on the east side. You are also quite near Golspie here

Carbisdale has two trails:

The Blue Trail

  • This is 1.5 miles and good for intermediate riders and has optional rock sections and technical descents such as the aptly named Goldie Rocks’ and ‘Hissing Sid’

The Red Trail

  • This is 3 miles long and more technical with steeper descents. You will enjoy the “Little Red Riding Wood’ and ‘What Big Teeth” technical sections.

  • If you have already or do get to ride this trail at Carbisdale then please share your experiences with us by writing a short review or posting your pictures of videos in the Community section.
