bit of a surprise

wasnt expecting much. rode here at the end of a day of riding so we didnt have much left in the legs. started off pretty routing but once we got further into the trails we realised it was a little gem. loads of roots and technical sections, most had more than one line choice. seemed short though, not sure if we missed an arrow somewhere. didnt find the skills area (didnt really look to hard for it though) once back to the van we were pleasently surprised at how good it was. often end up expecting smaller trail centers to be poor.

Good points:

more fun than expected technical sections

Bad points:

short trail hikers walking down trail signage wasnt great at times

Its good for beginners

its good for beginners and good for devolving skill at the skills park

Good points:

the skills loop is great for devolving skills and red and black trails are good for beginners , beecraigs is mostly natural but at the skills loop its man made

Bad points:

theirs not much hard stuff to ride at beecraigs apart from the black climb and the orange line at the skills park i found the better stuff at witches craig the refuge decent is very good it'll be good to have stuff like that at the actual mtb trails because at witches Craig you have to watch out for walkers but its not like there not there at beecraigs

Great fun so close to town

Very nice trails very close to town and to big cities. Variety of features and black options on red that are really challenging. Fun board walks, totally enjoyable.

Good points:

It is amazing how much fun you can get on a terrain that has not real climbing or descent! They have used what the topography offers to get out a variety of passages and features, including quite a few black options that can be really challenging. Or bits with plenty of roots, really good. They are still building the second loop and I cannot wait to see how it will be!

Bad points:

A second loop is still work in progress so at the moment the trail is not very long, even if by adding the other trails around it can give a good few hours of fun.
