I'm not sure if you have been keeping up with the news, but from today the Mayor has authorised the use of bus lanes by powered 2 wheelers (motorbikes and scooters). This is an 18 month trial which is going ahead despite a fairly vocal protests by the Cyclists Touring Club (CTC) - think the "AA" for bikes, and London Cycle Campaign(LCC).

If you have any issues with regard to motorcycles using bus lanes, i.e. it puts you off using a certain route, you find persistent aggression, dangerous driving or you wish to report a specific incident, then there is a website you can use to download a form to send to Transport for London here:

Hopefully we can co-exist in a civilised manner, but if not, then at least it is a consultation period and, like him or not, Boris has proven that he listens to the democratic process, even if it just means abolishing parts of the congestion zone!
