Well Thought I'd start a blog.

Bought myself an 08 Spesh Enduro about 6 weeks ago, had been waiting on 09 models but got to thinking that the way basic oil/commodities and everything has shot up in price this year, next years bikes likely to be under specced and/or over priced.

On the plus side the ride is so sweet, I'm new to full suss and have yet to fully master all the trail riding tricks (keep getting dragged out on XC rides) but am enjoying the way the bike handles fast switching single track and how it can bomb down bumpy trails. Also climbs well for a bike that is slightly heavier than my hardtail.

On the minus side is the fork reliability - it has been back to the shop once alread - left side cartridge blown after only six hours riding!!.

Now it is due to go back in tomorrow as the travel adjust knob is stuck!!

Can't believe that in only 6 weeks it has had to go into the shop twice.

Think this will be a bit like Alfa Romeo cars - great ride and looks, but in for repairs as often as you get to ride it!!
