Updates From Bike Park Kernow

A bunch of updates from Bike Park Kernow in Cornwall have been shared covering membership, ticket prices, trail development, opening hours and winter closure for 2024.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP
- We are changing how our membership will work. From now on if you purchase membership, you will have access to UNLIMITED visits between March and October, plus other benefits.
TICKET PRICES
- So that we can further develop the facilities and trails, we are increasing our prices. This will take effect from 1st April 2024. All money made from ticket sales is invested back into the development of the park. New prices can be found in the photo.
WEBSITE
- We have a new website for BPK. You are able to purchase tickets, merchandise and race entries as well as find all the information needed.
TRAIL DEVELOPMENT
- Our new red trail is beginning to take shape and you may start to see signs of it as you are riding Krusty Berms.
- We have also started clearing the area for our skills area. This will be a side-by-side line of tabletop jumps and drops.
- We will also be redeveloping the start ramp of Hooters/ Krusty Berms/ Sideshow Bob.
OPENING HOURS
- We get a lot of questions about opening hours. All our staff/ volunteers have full-time jobs outside of BPK and we are incredibly lucky that people give their time to support the park. However, that does impact opening times and hours. Open hours can always be found on our Google Business page.
- From 18th April, The evening sessions will recommence from 5 pm-8 pm every week.
- During school term time, the Bike park will only be open Saturday and Sunday 10 am-4 pm. We will also open on some additional weekdays during school holidays, these will be advertised.
WINTER CLOSURE
- From 3rd Nov 2024, we will close through the winter until 1st March 2025. This is to limit damage to the trails and site, plus it gives our volunteers so much-needed time off.
